I was born into a family of musicians.  It was all very von Trapp!  My mother taught my sister and me to sing with her in three-part harmony when I was four and booked our trio to play weddings by the time I was five.  At age seven, I was cast as the littlest Oompa Loompa in a musical production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory near my hometown of San Jose, California.  As I grew up, I landed lead roles in school and community theater productions and taught myself to play guitar so I could write songs and accompany myself.

I moved from California to New York in 2000, and continued to write songs and perform them at venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. From 2009-2012, I studied the Meisner acting technique at Alan Gordon Studio in Greenwich Village, NYC, and studied singing at Michael Hadary Studio in Harlem.  In June 2012 I moved back home to the San Francisco Bay Area to be close to my family and married my wonderful husband (and strongest supporter) Nathan in October 2013.

Recently, I've also found a passion for film and voice acting, and I've rounded out my acting education with three years at Voicetrax SF. My third film is in post-production and you can hear my voice in promos for independent feature films, educational narration for universities, and commercials.
