B I O G R A P H Y

I was born into a family of musicians - mom had been a recording artist since childhood and dad had a record deal with RCA. So of course my mom taught my sister and me to sing with her in three-part harmony when I was four and booked our trio to play weddings by the time I was five - it was very Von Trapp. I fell in love with musical theatre at age seven, performed in school and community theatre productions throughout my youth and taught myself to play guitar so I could write songs and accompany myself.

I moved from the SF Bay Area to New York in 2000 and, though I pursued a survival career in academic librarianship, I continued to write songs and perform them at venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. From 2009-2012, I studied the Meisner acting technique at Alan Gordon Studio in Greenwich Village, NYC, and studied singing at Michael Hadary Studio in Harlem.

Since returning to the Bay Area in 2012, I've continued to develop my singing voice with Raz Kennedy and discovered a passion for on-camera and voice acting. My fourth film is in pre-production. I'm rounding out my acting education with ongoing study at Voicetrax SF and Seydways Acting Studios. I was signed to the voice over department at Stars agency in August 2020 and you can hear my voice in promos for independent feature films, educational narration, and commercials.

In December of 2021, I left my 15-year career in academic librarianship and am now a full-time actor and singer.
